TAEP Pole Barns

The TAEP (Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program) provides cost-share funding to help Tennessee farmers make lasting improvements on their farms, including building structures like pole barns. Established in 2005, TAEP aims to boost farm efficiency, safety, and profitability while supporting local economies. Farmers can receive a flat 50% cost-share reimbursement (up to $8,000 for specific projects) to cover eligible costs. Applications open online each year from October 1–7, and approved projects must meet eligibility requirements and be used for their intended purpose for at least five years.
