Our Experienced Contractors
Nate is the third Troyer boy and married his lovely wife, Sylvia in 2019. They love to travel together to any new place that they have never been and Nate is an avid pilot. He obtained his private pilot\'s license several years ago and flying has been a favorite hobby of his ever since. Nate and Sylvia also enjoy reaching out to young men who need a fresh start.
Nate, together with Matt and myself, was part of our original barn building crew that we began in 2014. When I started branching into lumber and barn sales, Nate continued running a crew. Since then, Nate has found lots of odd jobs to do for the business. He runs a crew, supplies equipment for several of the other crews, and is beginning to venture into pouring concrete for barn pads.
Nate is great at being a jack-of-all trades and filling in where needed and we are proud to have he and his wife as part of the team here at Troyer Post Buildings.
Matthew is the second Troyer boy and he married his beautiful bride, Deb in 2017. Both Matt and Deb love to learn and care for people\'s mental and emotional needs. They are both enrolled in online college and are working towards obtaining their degree in counseling. They also love to explore new places and check out hip new joints. Matt is passionate about creating community and helping all of us realize how much we need each other.
Matt, along with Nate and myself, was part of our original barn building crew that we began in 2014. When I started branching into lumber and barn sales, Matt continued running a crew. Since enrolling in college, Matt has stepped back from working full-time on the crew, allowing him to do college in the winter and work on the crew in the summer. He is still an integral part of our team and always willing to lend a hand wherever necessary. We are proud to have Matt and his wife as part of our team at Troyer Post Buildings.
Jonathan is the 4th Troyer boy and also a twin to our only sister, Josephine. He is a hard-working young man that enjoys travel, international mission work, volleyball with friends, and training new crew members.
Johnny started a crew in 2017 with the other two youngest siblings, Joseph and Josephine, working with him. They had a wonderful summer working together and the next year Joseph and Johnny were ready to branch out with crews of their own while Josephine went to try her hand at managing a bakery.
Johnny has a passion for working efficiently and doing a good job. We are proud to have him as part of our team at Troyer Post Buildings.
Ryan grew up in a missionary family in Costa Rica and moved to the U.S when he was in his upper teens.
He and his family moved to Muddy Pond and he joined the Troyer Post Building team in 2016 working as a crew member for Matt. Ryan was an excellent barn builder and team member and he soon moved on to lead his own crew.
In 2018, he married Amy and they are now the proud parents of one little boy. Ryan and Amy are heavily involved in their local church community and passionate about sharing Jesus\' love with hurting and broken people. They are both talented praise and worship leaders and they care deeply for others.
We are proud to have Ryan and his family as part of our team here at Troyer Post Buildings.
Eric and Joseph
Eric and Joseph probably get the award for the crew that has the most fun... as two young, energetic guys with a good work ethic, they decided to lead a crew together in 2019 and they have been having fun building barns ever since.
Eric is a young man that moved to Muddy Pond from Michigan where he also worked in construction. He joined our team at Troyer Post Buildings in 2018 as a member of another crew.
Joseph is the baby brother of we Troyer boys and joined forces with us older boys in 2017, completing our 5 brother team.
Joseph and Eric work hard and always have fun doing it and we are proud to have them as part of our team here at Troyer Post Buildings.
Meet Bob, our crew leader and friend of everyone! Bob grew up in Belize and met his lovely wife Jeidy while he was in med. school in Guatemala. Bob completed med. school and worked as a doctor for years in Guatemala.
In 2016, Bob and his family moved to Muddy Pond and, since his doctor\'s license wouldn\'t transfer to the U.S., he joined our team at Troyer Post Buildings. Even though he is now a barn builder, we all know that he still has some of the best medical advice around. Bob and Jeidy have 3 children, 2 sons and one daughter.
Bob is an intelligent and energetic crew leader that enjoys learning new things and we are proud to have him and his family as part of our team here at Troyer Post Buildings.
Hi, I'm Tim, founder and owner of Troyer Post Buildings. I married the love of my life, Crystal, in 2018 and in 2020 we started doing foster care, making us the proud parents of 3 foster children, 2 boys and 1 girl! My wife and I also enjoy international travel and mission work.
I was raised in a Mennonite family and my father was involved in construction all throughout my childhood, often involving my four brothers and I in the building projects. When I was thirteen, my Dad started a portable storage building shop so he could work with and teach we five boys how to work diligently and efficiently.
In 2014, my brothers and I decided to set out on a business venture of our own. Our Dad helped us get started in the pole barn building enterprise. We were excited to work with the farming community having been brought up in a community of small farms and doing some small farming ourselves. From this farming experience we recognized a farmer\'s need for a low-cost, well-built, simple building to store hay and equipment.
In 2016 the demand for these barns was rapidly increasing and we realized that we could sell a lower priced barn more efficiently if we bought our supplies wholesale and put our own building packages together. I, Tim, started looking into starting a lumber yard and packaging facility and branching into barn sales while my brothers continued leading barn building crews. As the business continued to grow over the next few years, we started looking into the residential and commercial markets as well as the agricultural. Today, God has blessed us richly and the business has grown to include all of these markets. We enjoy the variety this brings our way and partner with crews that are willing and able to build many different types and styles of post frame buildings.
My vision for the future of Troyer Post Buildings is to continue to grow and serve the community around us while giving all the glory to God and furthering His kingdom in whatever way we can.
