Rick Heimark approaches every project at Troyer Post Building with a specific philosophy: he isn’t just selling a structure; he’s building a partnership. Inspired by the principles in The Trusted Advisor, Rick believes that true value lies in providing honest, clear guidance and fresh perspectives that go far beyond a simple transaction. Specializing in agricultural and commercial barns, Rick focuses on understanding each client’s unique needs to ensure their investment serves them for decades to come.

A student of both the industry and history, Rick is currently immersed in mastering the products and processes that make Troyer a leader in the field. He is a regular fixture at the Tuesday morning “All Hands” meetings, which he cites as his favorite way to kick off the work week with the team.

When he isn’t designing barns, Rick is likely living the lifestyle he helps his clients build. An avid homesteader, he manages a busy farm complete with horses, dogs, chickens, and a large garden. He is deeply involved in the local horse community, advocating for trail maintenance and public land use, and finds his greatest peace in what he calls the “between the ears” view from the saddle of a horse.
